When first laid, block paving can be very attractive to look at with rich colours and smooth textures to the blocks. Given time, weathering and footfall, it can start to look dirty, dull and worn with moss and weeds growing in the cambers of the joints.
Once you call CCPW to quote for your block paving to be cleaned, we take a pride in helping you restore the paving to its most beautiful. We will either ask for images of the whole area to asses cleaning requirements or we can arrange a visit at a mutually convenient time to see what we can do for you.
Once we have arranged a quote and your happy to proceed then we will make arrangements to come and do the work. All we require is an external tap for a water source, we supply all our own power if needed.
In the images on this blog youll see the differing stages to a clean that we undertake. First step is to prepare the area by removing all items leaving a clear path for us to carry out the work safely. Secondly, we use our industrial pressure washer and rotary cleaning equipment to clean the paving and remove all growth from between the joints. Next, we apply a cleaning chemical to remove all trace of organic staining which helps in reducing the speed at which any regrowth occurs. After a short dwell time we rinse all areas to leave a clean, fresh and bright paved area. Approximately 3-5 days afterwards we return to resand the blocks, stabilising them in the process.
